In September 2022, with a simple swipe and the click of a button, Tony and Tanya’s worlds aligned. Neither of them knew that what began as a casual interaction on a dating app would become the divine connection that would change their lives forever.
Their very first conversation revealed a cosmic sign: they were both Sagittarius—free-spirited, adventurous, and deeply passionate. Their birthdays were just ten days apart, as if God had been quietly crafting their parallel paths until the perfect moment.
They decided to meet in person at a Falcons game. But rather than focusing on the score or the plays, they found themselves completely lost in conversation. They talked through the entire game—laughing, sharing, connecting. It wasn’t just small talk; it was a beautiful, flowing exchange of stories, dreams, and energy. The ease with which they opened up to each other was rare, and being equally talkative! That was just one of many signs they were meant to be.
When Paths Align
From that moment on, Tony was intentional. He planned thoughtful dates that reflected both of their personalities—romantic evenings, worship experiences, and joyful outings with live music and dancing. Food, fellowship, and a well-crafted drink became staples of their time together. Whether in a cozy restaurant, a lively concert hall, or a quiet moment of prayer, they felt peace in each other’s presence.
Together, they explored the world—traveling, adventuring, and, most importantly, growing closer. They didn't just fall in love with each other; they fell in love with each other’s families. Holidays, birthdays, epic Spades night, and Sunday dinners all became opportunities to build a life rooted in love, laughter, and community.

A Promise of Forever
Then, on August 31st, 2025, Tony made it official. In front of close family and friends—the very people who had witnessed their journey—he got down on one knee and asked Tanya to be his forever. It was a moment full of joy, tears, and the undeniable presence of God.
Now, Tony and Tanya look forward to a lifetime under God’s covenant. Their love, anchored in faith and fueled by laughter, is a testament to what happens when two hearts align at God’s perfect time.
